Choose Wellness is a health-centric community event that aims to educate and inspire our attendees to choose wellness through whole-body health for a more vibrant, happy and healthy life.

The Choose Wellness Health Fair is an opportunity to reach out to our community about the impact that nutrition and lifestyle have on their lives now and in the future. Healthy choices can help prevent some of the major illnesses – like heart disease, diabetes, and even alzheimer’s. There have been studies that also show reversal of these diseases by choosing a healthy lifestyle.

Free Breast Cancer and Grief Presentation with Supper 

Presented by Ilsa Grunder and Marta Medina

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States currently. There were 313,510 new cases this last year alone. Ilsa works at the cancer center in Worcester and will speak about the diagnosis and how patients and families can cope.

Marta will speak about the effects of grief on the families and coping mechanisms for both patients and families.
