Members who have requested removal
Some members have requested that their names be removed from official church lists. These names are available on the meeting agenda above.
Missing Members
Because of the nature of our church, having been the campus church of Atlantic Union College, and being located less than half a mile from South Lancaster Academy and the Southern New England Conference and Atlantic Union Conference offices, our church has had a lot of people transfer their membership here over the years.
But when some of them moved away they didn't transfer their membership to their new church. Whatever the reason for that, we have many people on our official membership list with whom we have lost contact and who have not attended here in a very long time—in some cases for decades.
Because this does not accurately represent the membership of our church, we wish to designate people such as this as "missing." This simply means that we no longer have accurate contact info for them and our attempts to reach them have not been successful. It does not mean that they have done anything wrong or that we are disfellowshipping them. It simply means exactly what it says: that they are missing and we don't know where they are, or even if they are still alive.
